Troubleshooting method of box-type substation tripping
As an important equipment for user terminal power distribution, the prefabricated box-type substation is self-evident of the importance of stable and reliable operation. However, due to various reasons, the box-type substation often trips automatically, which is a self-protection mechanism of the pre-installed box-type substation. When a fault occurs, the power supply is cut off in time to avoid greater losses.
The following is a simple analysis of the troubleshooting steps for box-type substation tripping:
1. 10kv line tripping
When the 10kv switch side trips, start the investigation from the trip switch cabinet, first check the information of the protection action of the protection device, and preliminarily determine the cause of the fault according to the information; if no abnormality is found, then check the closing and opening of the trip switch body and the switch energy storage and The status of the primary equipment in the cabinet; if the above inspections are all normal, further check whether the secondary circuit of the switch is normal, and whether the switch status indication and position indication are normal.
Remember: If you need to force transmission, you need to ensure that the protection signal can be reset before power transmission.
2. The low-voltage side switch of the box-type substation trips
The tripping of the low-voltage main switch of the box-type transformer is usually caused by three reasons: the leapfrog tripping caused by the fault of the low-voltage outlet, the fault of the busbar, and the malfunction of the switch. When the main switch on the low-voltage side of the box-type substation trips, a detailed inspection of the primary and secondary equipment on the low-voltage side is required to determine the possible causes of the trip. If there is a protection action on the low voltage side of the box transformer, you can judge by checking the protection action. If there is an overcurrent protection action on the low voltage side of the box transformer, you can further judge the cause of the fault by checking whether the three-stage protection setting of the switch is reasonable. If the cause of the failure cannot be found out, the low-voltage switchgear should be subjected to a withstand voltage test with a shaker, and there is no abnormality. After the test power supply is successful, pay attention to observe the operation of the equipment, and immediately turn off the switch if there is any abnormality; if the test power supply is unsuccessful, it is necessary to conduct a comprehensive inspection and test of the equipment to find out the cause of the failure.
