Prefabricated modular substations are substations composed of individual "containers." All switchgear, primary and secondary equipment, along with the substation itself, are prefabricated in the factory. After factory installation and commissioning, they are directly hoisted onto the site, making them ready for use like assembling Lego bricks. Compared to conventional substations, most of the equipment installation work is moved to the equipment factory, and the superior installation environment within the factory promotes improved project quality.
